Red Apple Buffet in Cobleskill

I've gone a few times over the years but the last few times I went it was disgusting . Tonight was by far the worst, the shrimp tasted like bleach, the chicken wasn't cooked thoroughly, the green beans were burnt and the soup tasted burnt .

Not the best Chinese place but not the worst either.

Overall I enjoy eating here. The staff is very nice and the place is clean. Show up during rush hour or the food can be dry.

Not my first choice but my daughter loves it. Food should be hotter and fresher. Edible but nothing to brag about.

Charged adult pricing for an 10 yr old food all tasted the same. 82$ for 4 kids 2 adults

The food here is hit or miss. Today it was very good. All you can eat buffet lunch for $8.00 is a heck of a deal.

I have eaten at this buffet twice. The first time the food was okay not very flavorful but passable. I had some stomach troubles after dinner but nothing too serious. I ate at the restaurant not too long ago with my family and we all got food poisoning some members of my family got more sick than others. I do not recommend eating here at all. There's other spots you could go to that have good food and won't get you sick. If you want to eat at a buffet style place I definitely recommend Champlin Hall in Suny Cobleskill it's affordable and the food is delicious.

Worst place I ever ate! Lettuce was brown. When I asked for fresh I was told to pick through. Sweet & Sour Chicken was hard and the waitress literally scraped the chicken off the bottom of the pan. Food was cold, hard, and souring. I paid the bill and left hungry. I will never return nor recommend the Red Apple Buffet in Cobleskill NY.

Most likely the best food you can get in cobleskill. Mac and cheese is really good. Staff is always very nice. Food is always got and ready to be eaten.

Nice people but spraying chemicals next to us while eatting. Food old, not done hearing us say were going for more starts wrapping up food over an hour before closing. Will never go back.

Food was either room temperature or not cooked all the way through. Place has a strange smell and doesn’t serve alcohol. If you have a choice I wouldn’t come here. I would feel safer eating off the ground at the price chopper next door.

We stopped in on Father's Day. Much of the food was bland in flavor or dried out. The restrooms and some of the tables were not well cleaned or maintained. Sadly, I have had much better food and experiences and almost any other buffet I have been to.

Food was disgusting...tasted like it had been sitting for hours barely ate anything on my plate and the things I did where not at all worth it!, also ordered unsweetened iced tea and tasted like it had menthol in it.. Also had a nasty film after taste in mouth....disgusting!,wouldn't wish that food on my own enemy!

Let me tell you, if you enjoy paying $40 for 3 people and having dried out nasty food this is the place! The only thing I thought was good was the ice cream! I bit into a egg role and there was plastic inside!

I'm pretty versed, I think, when it comes to Chinese buffet fare. My family likes to go to one once a month. I've never tried this place so me and my husband gave it a go. It. Was. By. Far. The. WORST. Ive. Ever. Been. To!!! The food was old from being under the heat lamps all day, it all had the same funky after "taste" and the place was dirty. I ended up very sick after eating here. If I could have given this place negative stars i would have. Your better off going 25 minutes away for your Chinese.

Very many choices of food an deserts.

Food was okay, nothing to write home about. But for $8 it is worth what you pay, especially if you are a seafood fan. Try to go during the lunch or dinner rush otherwise the food is not fresh.

This restaurant sucked! The food was horrible. It was all dried out. The sushi tasted like they purchased it at BJ’s wholesale and laid in out, and there were only about three types to choose from. They had what looked like butter to dip clams and crab legs into but it turned out to be like 100% olive oil without even a hint of butter flavor in it. The green beans had no flavor, and the cocktail sauce they had out tasted funny. If you want Chinese food in Cobleskill go to a take out place or a buffet in another city. Do Not go here. It was NOT worth the price.

My favorite is the shrimp, dumplings, general tso and the fried vegetables and shrimp and crab. The sugar donuts always finish the meal off!

Horrible old food, looked to have been sitting around for days!! Nothing even appetizing !! Waitress was good.

Food was old still 2hrs till closings nice people but rushed us out to close 1.5 hrs eraly one was spraying windex behind us as we were eating still eating and getting up to get food and there taking it away and covering cold food then to top of the night me and my gf had a hole night of painful stomach craps till 3 am when it changed to uncontrollably diarrhea till mid morning
